Our customers do not want security problems. The last thing you need are problems caused by an outside contractor. The traditional approach to security in the janitorial industry has been to require applicants to bring a local police background check with them to their interviews. This is still the standard in the industry. The problems inherent in this approach are that the information obtained is very limited, and this approach provides the opportunity for the applicant to alter the results.

Red Carpet now has the ability to access justice system records directly from our office via on-line database access and specialized software. Red Carpet performs a state-wide criminal background check on all job applicants. We also have access to national justice system records. This new system has allowed us to increase the amount of information available to us. And, since we perform this background check in-house, we have eliminated the opportunity for job applicants to alter the results. Since this new system for checking criminal backgrounds costs the same as the old industry standard, no additional cost is passed on to our customers.

In addition to background checking, we can also provide drug testing should it be required.
